Things have been busy around our house as of late. We believe that Caleb has finally hit is "terrible two's" stage and it has been a challenge to say the least. He is learning how to stretch is boundaries and see just what he can and cannot get away with (along with throwing many fits throughout the day). We have had many days where it seems it is just a battle of with wills between him and I and daddy can't get home fast enough!!! It has been a struggle for me as I am getting more and more tired and more and more BIG...it is not so easy to chase him down and scoop him up anymore. We are doing okay though. God has given grace on days when it seems I have NONE for him or myself!
We continue to work on potty training...he is pretty much dry during the day as we try and make a "potty break" every 2 hours or so. Even when we have to stretch it longer he seems to stay dry so that is good. Going #2 is not so easy and he hasn't quite mastered that one yet. He does go on the potty every once in a while, but not very regularly. We'll get there....now we just save on diapers during the day and that is fine with me!!
Kirk has Caleb have become great friends as of late....they have SO MUCH FUN together! Caleb runs to the door when Kirk gets home and doesn't seem to leave his shadow the whole evening. On nights when Kirk is gone, Caleb just isn't quite as energetic. He misses his daddy! They are two peas in a pod! Here they are watching TV together....they don't look alike or anything do they?!?! ;)
Caleb is getting his own "silly" personality! He loves to make people laugh by laughing with this really fake crazy laugh. We never get tired of hearing it! Here he is trying on daddy's work glasses (we are redoing our basement). He thought they were SOOOO cool!

And here he is with Kirk's sweatshirt on. We were making him say "I AM YODA"....we were laughing harder than he was I think. So funny!

And, here I am at 24 weeks pregnant (about 2 weeks ago). Again, not flattering but there must be visual progress huh? Things are going well so far.
The baby is getting very active and he does seem to have his awake and sleep time pretty much on schedule. We can only pray it stays nice and steady when he arrives right...I don't think I am that lucky! Oh well. We are getting more and more excited to have another infant in the house. We were just talking last night that we can't wait to have a cuddly little one again....hopefully this one cuddles a little more than Caleb did! We'll see. We will just be blessed to have him in our arms! Only about 14 more weeks (or less!). Crazy!
If anyone had ANY doubt that Caleb is ALL BOY then here is a video to show you that he is. My mom got him this hanging basketball hoop at a yard sale and we hung it up in our hallway. I am not sure how he lived without it so long. We even have to say "ni-night" to it when we take naps and go to bed at night so he will stop playing with it! HE LOVES IT! He has learned just where to stand so he can make the shots. We got him an adjustable basketball hoop for the basement for Christmas and we are SOOO excited to give it to him now. He's got skills you've never seen ;) Enjoy!
Hope this little update finds you well! God bless!
